Summer fun in June

The girls love to go swimming. We make it to the pool 4-5 times a week. Anna has gotten really good. She can swim freestyle all the way across the pool when she wants too, and she just started jumping off the diving board the other day. Emma is trying... I still like to stay right next to her, but she can dive down and pick up toys on the bottom of the pool.

They like to ride their bikes too, but that has slowed down a little since it's so hot.

Anna was taking pictures and Emma was showing her the inside of her eyes. They make me smile! :)

Anton's friends came over last weekend to get some camping supplies ready for our trip. Anna wanted to hang out with them.

Last Sunday our church had a Father-Daughter sock hop. They had lots of fun!

They made bracelets!

Silly girls!!

They played limbo.

And ate ring pops.

Anton set up his own bank account last weekend too. He got his very own ATM card, funded by money that he makes himself!

Anna lost her 1st tooth Wednesday night!!!!! I'm not sure I'm ready to have such a big girl.

The tooth fairy brought her 4 quarters and gave me her tooth. You can kind of see it in the flashy area between "tooth" and "6". I put it in the file cabinet with her birth certificate.

So thankful....

Celebrating after Graduation!

After graduation, we headed to a restaurant in the Rice Village area. I love these girls!!

My girls always want to look at everyone's phones. Especially if it has angry birds!

Anton was with his mom and all her people, but we had a good time celebrating his graduation without him.

After dinner we drove around Rice Village and stopped here, at the Methodist Church by the fine arts museum. Houston 1st Pres is right across the street. I worked there for a year or so back in 2000/2001. I used to bring my lunch and walk across the street to this place on nice days and eat here by the Jesus statue. Lovely memories...

It was fun to bring my family here. The girls liked running around the labrynth behind Jesus.

I really love my van!!! We all fit and got to ride around all together.

The girls all fell asleep on the long ride home. Anna fell asleep not long after the picture was taken.

That night the graduates spent the night at a giant lock-in party at their High School. It's called "Project Graduation". I think it started 10-15 years ago all over the country in an effort to let kids party and be safe on graduation night. The party was from 11pm-5am. It's pretty major with lots of really cool, big stuff and lots of raffle give aways. Anton won a blue-ray player. Tony worked a shift in the middle of the night at a giant climbing wall. Anton actually went to church after that and then did this at our house for most of the day.

He finally woke up and opened some presents. He got more money from my parents, and we gave him a bladder for his backpack (a big plastic bag you can fill with water that has a tube you can fit through a little hole and drink out of while the backpack is on your back).
