Bikes, More Drumming and Pumpkins!

Tony took some pictures of the girls riding their bikes a couple of weeks ago when we had that brief cold front.
Emma loves riding a bike. She even lets us put her right back on it when she falls over. Anna is so proud of her big new bike!
Doesn't she look like such a big girl??!!
KPHS vs. Porter, 2 weeks ago.
The girls love to watch the panther. Emma finally isn't scared of her (it's a girl cheerleeder in there in case you are wondering).
This is typically what we see on the field when we're trying to pick out Anton - a blur! He's the one on the far left. And in the middle.
This is the UIL marching competition the next day. The girls and I stayed home because it was a long drive, but Tony enjoyed watching them.
When Tony got back, we headed to a little pumpkin patch at a local church. Anna found a pumpkin she wanted to take home! Can you believe she let me fix her hair?? She looks so cute, I wish I could do it every day, but I love her, crazy hair and all!
Tony took about 15 shots of them in this nice spot trying to get a good picture. Here's the best of them.

They have a little kid area with some fun things to do. The girls loved hammering golf tees into the pumpkins.
Emma loves a jumping house!!
Emma's getting her face painted. She crying because I took her lollypop away.

There that's better!
Our monkey boy after he came home from UIL.
I guess he loves to slide as much as the girls. :)
Anton spent a little time with Anna during Emma's nap letting her help use his coke bottle rocket...
Ready. Set.
GO!!!!

Camping Trip

I got to watch the Pence girls several times back when Jessica was still pregnant and going to her check-ups. One day I let the girls watch a little Sesame Street. I love how they decided to sit!! :)
I also let them play in Emma's crib. By the time I got the camera, Joanna had gotten out of the crib. They were having so much fun!Another day my girls decided to be puppies and cuddle in Junior's bed. :)We went on our first fall camping trip 2 weekends ago in Huntsville. We got there on a Friday around dinner time. The girls LOVE LOVE LOVE to go camping. They were SO excited! It was so much fun. They love the tent!My sleepyheads in the morning. They sleep great in the tent, but it does take a while to get them to go to sleep. They have lots of fun playing in there and don't want to settle down. They were so funny playing wrestlemania and giggling before bed. I managed not to get a picture of that. :(Anna loves a fire in the morning! The weather was perfect. We woke up a little cold, but were comfortable in our hats and jackets. It warmed up quick, and Anna wanted to go fishing. I wonder what she would do if they every actually caught anything! She also found a fat fuzzy catepillar. The girls gently terrorized it for quite a while before we finally made them let it go.We took a little walk and the girls picked some purple berries.
Lunch before we headed out. We had planned on coming back Saturday afternoon for a football game, then we remembered our friends' Sunday School class was also having a tailgate party in the parking lot. So it was a really quick camping trip, but we had fun and it was great to catch up with some friends before the game. Here's the cooks...
Our girls enjoyed dining at Abby's princess table!
The whole gang. At one point we didn't see Anna for a minute and found her behind the chairs eating Cheeto puffs. :)
We walked across the parking lot just in time to catch the band playing a few songs in front of the stadium.
We ran into our friends Thomas and Kalia (and their mom Rachel, who also has a marching band student). Thomas is just a couple of months older than Emma. Anna especially LOVES Thomas.
The face painters were out again.
Sweet Thomas.
The girls (and every other toddlerish kid we know at the games) love to climb on the rails. I'm pretty sure I'm looking at Emma here making sure she doesn't go up too high.
Anton is having fun jamming out in the stands as usual. And on the field!
