Anna wanted to watch videos of herself tonight. Tony put on some video from her last birthday party. She wanted to watch the singing part twice and then asked if she could get inside the TV. :)
Emma has added a few words to her vocabulary: uh-oh & yah (as in yes). She also makes a bubba type sound for bubble, her bunny, and Anton.
Life is good!

Veteran's Day Parade and trip to Austin
My funny Anna put on her swim floatie the other day on top of her shirt, then put her jeans on over it. She was walking around saying she was going swimming. She also got a haircut right after this!!
Anton's school band was asked to march in the Veteran's Day Parade downtown last week, so we didn't miss the opportunity to meet Tony downtown and watch. 
I was pretty excited Anna picked out her new dress to wear. She seems to enjoy matching Emma lately.
Beautiful giant flag. Besides watching Anton perform and just having fun with the girls, it really was a wonderful and patriotic thing to spend my time doing.
There's the Panther Band!!
And a very focused Anton! He said they had a great time.
There were lots of other exciting groups marching.
There's Elvis singing for the troops!!
There was some wide-eyed fascination with the military vehicles. 
The policemen, firemen and TRUCKS were exciting. People were always waving enthusiastically at the girls. Emma was excited to wave back and so was Anna when she felt like it. :)
Friday night we ended up making a very spontaneous trip to Austin. Tony had gotten ahold of some extra tickets to see a preacher named Rob Bell speak (NOOMA video guy). So I quickly called my sweet friend Kim to see if we could stay with them. Luckily they were free and the guys went to see Rob Bell while Kim and I hung out with the kids and each other. It was so wonderful to spend time with them, and of course the girls loved the adventure with Caleb and Callie!!

The backyard was pretty wet and soppy, so we headed to the front.

A babysitter asked me the other day where I kept Juniors toys because he kept getting the girls toys when she was there. So I felt bad that he only had 1 that he doesn't really play with, and I bought him a new one the other day. This is what it looked like about 30 minutes after he started playing with it. This is why my sweet Junior has no toys. :( Oh well, at least Santa won't forget him!

Family Fun in South Carolina!
We had a wonderful visit to see my Grandmother and family a couple of weekends ago. It was so beautiful to be in the foothills of the Appalachians in South Carolina in the fall. My grandmother lives right next to a small river trail and falls. We spent a lot of time outside looking at the beautiful trees in all different colors!!

Playing in the leaves!!!!! The kids did this for hours. Anton was out there raking up the leaves with 2 of my cousins' little boys, but was mysteriously not photographed.

My Uncle Bobby was always the kind of uncle who showed his affection by giving us a hard time in a funny way. He kept taking Emma's finger out of her mouth and putting it in his. By the end of the trip, she would point her "sucking" finger at him whenever she saw him. She thought he was pretty funny too. 
Playing dress up. I think Emma could have gotten into it, but it lasted about all of 5 minutes with Anna before she wanted her blue jeans back on.
Hanging out in the garage after it got too dark outside. Anton's showing the boys some soccer moves. He seemed to enjoy being their source of entertainment for the evening.
