I haven't downloaded my camera in a while, and I don't know what all I will find. Tony has put lots of pictures on the computer though - when I blog again the timing will probably overlap. Anyway, we got to take Anna's BFF to a football game a few weeks ago. We all loved that! Here she is kind of meeting Parker the Panther. She wouldn't hug him like Anna does, but she waved at him.
So cute!!!They were watching the band (playing on the field) and "directing".
Anton is right in the middle.
Three little girls watching the drumline play after halftime.
We ran into our friends Katie and Claire and their mom Liz, who is also mom to Anton's friend Clayton.
I thought these pictures were funny. I don't know what was going on, but Alli's face cracks me up (the girl in the back, who was also Anton's "friend" homecoming date). I'm thining Kyle was bugging Anton and then got whacked in the head with a stick.
Only a few more games left. I'm going to miss it!!!!!
This was a Saturday morning when it was chilly. I was sleeping at the time - I LOVE Saturday morning daddy time!!!! We have a lot of seemingly dead trees from the extreme drought we had this summer. We think they've been marked so they can be taken down, but no sign of that happening yet.
I just love this scene. I will cherish it always!
My pretty baby!!!
Both of my girls love to pick up interesting leaves and acorns.
Anna is proud of her bouquet!
I'll have to blow this one up and frame it to remind them that they really do love each other in those tense moments they often have.
Eating popsicles!
We have had the crate out to keep Junior contained (I mainly use it as a gate). Emma especially likes to play in there, but she got her sister to join her one day.
We got some pumpkins at a local pumpkin patch (I know I have pictures of that). Tony carved them with the girls and lit candles for them.
Making pizza dough.
An appearance by Anton at bedtime is always a treat!
And another game!
Abby came with her dad, so she's hanging out with us to watch the drumline.
All the girls were yelling "ANTON!!!" in their squeaky little girl voices. Josh was chiming in also with his best little girl voice. Anton was loving all the attention.
That big black thing behind Anna's head is Parker the Panther's arm/hand. He was trying to get Abby to give him a high 5, but Abby was screaming hysterically. Poor thing was terrified. I'm pretty sure I was laughing at Anna because I was dancing her around on my knees and NOT at our sweet scared friend.
Junior is doing really great. I've been taking him on lots of walks to strengthen his knee. He still limps a little and get up from his bed stiff, but the doctor said he was doing really well when I took him for a follow-up xray on Monday. I can let him lose in the backyard again in about 3 weeks.
We fed the turtles.
I'm also supposed to do "hill" training for Junior's knee, but going up and down the side of the ditch is the only hill around here. The girls LOVE going down to the water.
Tony made them a fire the other day. Notice Winter the dolphin. Anna and Emma made "trees" at Bible study last week out of a toilet paper roll for the trunk and construction paper for the leaves. Anna decided it looked like Winter's prosthetic tail, so she shoved it onto the end of Emma's anatomical correct (ie tail-less) stuffed Winter. And voila, we have a Winter with her prosthetic tail!!
My cute girls...
